Movement leading the direction ahead.
It's the feeling of free that creates ease for us to move forth.
Because remaining still is to be dead.
The branches have to lose green in order to grow fresher new ones.
The chances go unseen, attention is only paid when we make a ton.
So bend and don't break when the down degree seasons come.
It's that courage that it takes to walk away the victorious one.

It's the work done in the shadows that prepares us for the spot in the lights.
The approach during the meaningless battle that shows face during the meaningful fights.
Preparation at half speed is nothing but a waste of that effort.
In order to succeed you must be giving your all with your selection of methods.
Ain't no half steppin when chasing anything that has a touch of passion.
It's your oversight that is the weapon when the casuals are out of fashion.
So carry out excellence even when the game has little stakes.
Building up tolerance will show in time to minimize bonehead mistakes.

THE CHASE

You appear to be further, with every step I take closer.
Trapped in inertia, it seems in ways I'm my most potent opposer.
Full of visualization, I can see the accomplishment I'd feel.
False imagination, maybe I'm just that hamster spinning in the wheel.
Never say die, will I find you, only time will tell.
Pick myself up and rise, giving up is the only way that I’d fail.
I'm just a coyote, thinking of traps for the road runner.
Without the chase I’d be lonely, the quest for you makes life even funner.

WEAKNESS MAKES STRENGTH

We can not, and I stress can not, succeed if we do not learn how to fail. There is no top of anything if there is not a bottom to it. Often times the bottom is the foundation for there even to be a top.
There are no unblemished records in the game of success.
It's amazing how often we overlook the fact that winning is just the by-product of learning the right ways to lose. It's how champions respond to loss that makes them champions in the first place.
Learning how to lose with grace is the ultimate win.
As long as there are lessons being learned, and improvements being made, the game is not over. A true loss can only happen when the game is completely over.

HARD WORK IS EASY WORK

Go ahead. Walk on over there. Take a look into that mirror.Look into those eyes looking back at us.
Those are the eyes of someone who has faced resistance many times, only to regroup and find another way to make it happen.
Through these experiences, that person has learned how to easily avoid those same obstacles when they needed to make it happen again. And again. And again.
That pushback that was once a heavy load, now has become light work. Hard Work Is truly easy work.

YOU ARE YOUR BEST COACH

I believe in you. You have pushed through so much already to be at the beautiful place where you are now.
It can seem impossible at times to ever see the light at the end of the tunnel of success. Bumpy is often the lay of the road. The darkness before the light is extremely blinding to the vision. It can take a village to help us feel our way out to the other side of trial and error.
Guidance can be the make or break factor. The environment and character we surround ourselves with can be the guard rails that lead our direction. They can also be the limiting resistance keeping us stuck in place or even moving backwards.
In my opinion, there are few feelings worse than failing due to making moves that weren't true to ourselves. Violating our own intuition and falling short on someone else’s suggestion is as frustrating as it gets.
No one can show you the route that is meant for you. No one has ever walked in your shoes the way that you do. Only you know your truth and where you need to get better.
Only you can do the work. Nobody can do it for you. You got you and that is all you need.

ABUNDANCE FROM SACRIFICE

The fatigue is unbearable. Heavier and heavier it is becoming. This weight of neglect is slowing down every step moving forward. Looking bak is a blurry sight. Intolerable is what has become of the pain behind the eyes.
So many seconds in the whole. So many minutes lost. The precious hours vanished in the forrest of ambition.
It is a must to get this time back, but this isn't the moment to collect.
They excel in the development of their craft. Working their little heart off for the chance to flawlessly perform in the presence of the crowd. Their commitment guides us to do the same and push beyond the hurdles.
It's that same commitment that has led them to add another trophy to their collection. All of their tireless hours that propelled them to another victory.
As the clock ticked down to zero, its that moment where we can hug and exprise our pride for them in words that makes the sacrifice all worth it. Knowing that their view of us in the sea of unknown faces aids their triumph.
The recharge is needed, but the assurance of support to them is worth way more.

KEEP ON ROLLING

Staying consistent and persistence is what takes us further than talent does. The simple sounding task of just showing up everyday through rain and snow will reap more reward over time then showing talent.
It's as easy as showing up
So remember this fact on those cold mornings when your body calls for the bed rather than the grind. Never lose sight of this point when you have to pick yourself up and process the lessons from the losses.
Don’t let those types of events set you back.
Don't let the discomfort defeat you. Even small progress is better than no progress. Every little step gets you closer.
Stick to the plan and keep on rolling.

DECLARE OUR DESTINATION

You are so powerful. A force with the world at your feet to explore. Inside of you is the grace and focus to overcome the temporary hard times that come your way. You know this, but oftentimes we forfeit this command to those we are around.
We let them set the bar.
They defined the line because our naiveness allowed them to. We ignore the resistance in our being. All for the fantasy of their validation, we give up one of the main powers that is within us all. Persistent through all of the obstacles to achieve their benchmark, only for them to tell us how we could have done it better.
Our feeling of failure is not their fault.
Putting the blame on them also contradicts that super power that we have. Our unhappiness is solely our fault. We subconsciously subscribed to a dummy mission because we didn’t follow the main character of our stories.
I say this not to invoke the sense of self pity. Certainly it is not my aim for us to beat ourselves up for these choices. I do so to paint the picture that our happiness is solely in our control. This is our greatest power.
This picture that I painted is the setting of what happens when we travel the road to someone else’s desired destination.

WHAT IS IN OUR CONTROL

Misunderstanding….. It is the foundation for all arguments and debates. The root to all conflicts and misguided aggressions. This world we live in can seem so complex, which reflects in us people who live in it.
The labels, the statuses, the perception of right and wrong, blinds us everyday in seeing the good of our fellow man.
More than most of us want to admit, but our battles are often sparked from within. It is not the evil, self serving, foolish enemy that we’ve created in someone else that moves us to rage.
It is the frustration at ourselves for not being able to understand the moves of those who differ from us.
It’s okay. There is no need to lose our cools over this. It is not our job to regulate the actions of others. We do not have to check people, or educate those who do not seek the wisdom.
Live and let live.
It is more important for us to focus on what it is that we do control.Our responses to the misunderstanding. Do we allow it to bring out the ugly in us or do we use it to fuel the betterment in our lives? The choice is ours.

THE POWER OF ACCEPTING FAULT

Passing the buck. It's the weakest move we can make at the sign of trouble. The act of lying to ourselves, about ourselves. Going into defense mode in order to spin the false narrative that we do not have control in the action that we take.
With your gifts and abilities, you are better than that.
All of those remarkable capabilities at your disposal, running is not what you are built to do.
No matter how hard others try to take this from you, know that you have the controller in your game of life.
This is why the buck always stops with the boss. So if we are claiming leadership, we must know that the honor of taking the blame is the price that comes with it.
Life is the “c” between the “b” for birth, and the “d” for death.
That “c” stands for the choice we make in the scenarios we find ourselves in. This is the ultimate power that we all possess. This capability is especially empowering when errors happen.
